On today's episode, we discuss an underrated PlayStation 2 horror RPG from Sacnoth with the 2001 game Shadow Hearts. The first game in the Shadow Hearts series and serving as a spin off/ sequel to the PS1 game Koudelka, this game is our first title that we talk about in this genre. While it didn't take off the way they were hoping, helped in large part due to being released only a week before the smash hit Final Fantasy X, this did well enough to get a couple of sequels. Join me as we talk about our rude hero Yuri as he tries to save a young woman named Alice from being used as a tool in casting a horrible and destructive spell.

On today's episode, we check out a unique looking survival horror title from 2022 called Scorn. Developed by Ebb Software and published by Kepler Interactive for the PC, Xbox and now the Playstation 5, this game is one that may have received average reviews at the time of it's release but I quickly fell in love with. Despite it's weak combat and lack of conventional story telling, the art style and world design makes it stand out to may with designs inspired by H. R. Giger and his biomechanical art.

On today's episode, we talk about another indie horror game, Midnight: Submersion. Developed and published by Midnight Works, this game is a first person psychological horror game where you explore a deserted town out in the forest and try to discover the secrets behind the dummies that have taken to wondering the country side. A game well reviewed by users on Steam, I find myself for the first time on the show talking about a game that I wouldn't recommend that everyone check out and why it doesn't quite work for me.

On today's episode, we check out the latest game in the Amnesia series from Frictional Games with Amnesia: The Bunker. A First person psychological horror game about a French solider on the frontlines in No Man's Land during WW1. After getting badly injured while trying to save a friend, he awakens in the medical room of a French bunker to only find everyone else dead and a horrible beast stalking the underground tunnels looking to only kill anyone it can find.

On today's episode, we take a look at the 2010 game from Remedy Entertainment, Alan Wake. Inspired by the works of Stephen King and the TV show Twin Peaks, this third person shooter sees a famous writer lose his wife to an ancient darkness long forgotten under a north western lake. Armed with a revolver and flashlight, this famous author will have to confront hordes of Taken and the Dark Presence that has slowly started to take the town of Bright Falls.

On today's episode, we take a look at our first indie horror title called The Convenience store. Developed and published by a small developer for Steam called Chilla's Art, this is their first game that helped them become moderately among streamers and content creators. A first person psychological horror where take the controls of a young college student working the night shift at the local convenience store. In between taking care of customers and doing task left for us by our manager, we start to notice some odd occurrences that quickly grow out of control and also ponder why the evening shift person is so useless.

For our first episode, we take a look at the horror game that started it all for me, Resident Evil. Developed and published by Capcom in 1997, this is the game that started a huge multi media franchise that is still running hot to this day. A third person survival horror game where play as a couple of special tactics team members as they try to survive the night trapped in an abandoned mansion filled with zombies, monsters, and some of the most odd door locks ever.
